The push to talk headset does not function. This is my 4th set after a couple of years of being in the field with multiple equipment operators. I've come to accept our Motorola CP200D radios are not 100% compatible. In order for our operators to respond, they require to push the actual radio push to talk button for a response. The headset's on all of units have the same issue.
On another note,they are durable, reliable and completely drown out surrounding noise for a crisp clear communication between our team members.

Purchased this headset to used with my Anytone 878 while at a race. Hooked it up and everything seemed to work ok. Audio was very good in the headset, but when I tried to talk to someone they reported that my audio was very weak and they had a hard time hearing me. I adjusted the mic gain on the radio as high as it would go, but that only made a minor difference. Bottom line is headset audio is very good, but mic/transmit is horrible. I can't imagine anyone would be able to hear me when actually in a noisy environment.
I use this to communicate with other UTV riders in our group. It works like I expected.
Mic is extremely low. You will not be heard when talking into it
I'm about a "4", mostly happy with the purchase. Sound is fine, a little muddled for my taste. I know some of the issues are probably a "middle of the road" speaker system in the headset. Since this is utilized at my job and not for music replay, it's fine for my usage.
I just got a chance to use the headset recently due to the cable I purchased thru Amazon that was recommended for our BlackBox radio system did not work (wrong connector, posts too close together), even though it's designated for the "BlackBox" radio.
Currently, I can't use my headset because I'm afraid the wrong cable will come again if I order thru Amazon. I'm looking to find a cable "in person" so I know the cable is correct, but I'm not having much luck.

Saving my husband's and son's hearing as they block the noise from the loud tractor engines in the tractor pulls and they are able to communicate with each other--keeps them both safe. The company was great to work with as well. I had to call Rugged Radio 3 times due to my inexperience with headsets and radios and they walked me through each question.
I am a racing official at a short track in New England, works very well and the added 3.5mm jack fits an additional scanner which is good to have as a back up, or to hear another channel.
I am a track officiall at a home town track and needed a new headset! It's very comfortable, and the sound quality is very good! Very happy with it!
