So I bought this for my peltor comtac iii. It doesnt work, I can listen no problem but I can't transmit with the PTT or the PTT on the radio when it's hooked in. Probably fine for any other headset than legitimate military headsets. Used it on a baofeng UV-5R and UV-5R+.
You can barely hear someone talking to you and people can't understand you when you talk. I used this with real Peltor Comtac IIIs
When I plugged this into my comtac iii and baofeng radio it started playing the radio through my headsets microphone until I partially unplug it and then it would play through the headset.
It will need amplifier for the Peltor comtac 2, you can hear people talking but they won’t hear you. Built quality is good, very secure clip and the cord length is adequate
I have used two of these things on my radio for work. They have both failed within a week. Strongly do not recommend.

Seems of good quality, com headset did not work well with this item but I have ruled in the headset to be problematic and not this item. Nice clicking mechanism, nice and compact
Was skeptical but this works with my real Peltors and Baofeng radio. Not bad for the price
The PTT is a perfect plug and play. No issues with connection or coms system worth every penny.
