Range is pretty good. I am an industrial millwright foreman and use on my jobs. 3 weeks after receiving and usung in the field, one of the radio is stuck on 1 channel, thank god it is the one I use. Range is really good over all. light weight, easy to use, and batteries last at least a 10 hr shift

Update. Just received my replacement radios from the company. This is truly a company who believes in customer service and quality products. Thank you so much!
The port where you can attach external microphones is the biggest concern. The external units included in this kit appear to not be the same length as the original equipment cover that does mount flush. If you look at the photo showing the location of the screws you can see that the mounting hardware at the bottom is below the plane of the other which causes the gap that you see in the side view of the radio where you can still see the connector pins being exposed. The angled tabs at the opposite end of the mounting screw slot into the radio body but the length difference causes the problem. This cannot be a water proof radio if the covers do not mount flush.
Contacted company about problem and was told to not use regular product help line, need to resubmit to a specific Amazon help line.
Manual is poorly translated so lots of room for confusion.
USB charging bases are a plus since that means they can be connected to power banks or solar stations and not be limited to use with wall outlet sockets. Seperate slots to charge battery on and off the radio body. Indicator light for charger base is solid red-green so color blind beware. Does not change from blinking to solid or vice versa or another more helpful visual change.
Belt clips are fiddly to get the screws into the radio body since you have to put tension into the spring and then work in a confined space.
Small superficial damage to antenna.
Transmission distance with larger antenna improved to 1900 feet over 1200 feet from other name brand bubble pack FRS radios with smaller antenna length in my suburban environment full of houses and trees with no clear line of sight.
External mic PTT button only activates if you push on one end since it is a fixed pivot design, kind of like a one sided seesaw.
These are really great radios unless you plan to be around water, which is why I got them. They advertise to be waterproof!
They are not!!! I bought the 4 pack and now only 2 work because 2 of them got wet.
These radios are perfect for drivers to communicate during road trips when we caravan. When I’m not on the road they’re just as handy on the job site. Always a strong signal and clear sound up to (2) miles. Absolutely solid purchase!
Good range,good quality, and smaller size makes easy for wearing under extra layers.
Only negative is belt clip screws have to be tighten regularly. But could be work I do.

I had trouble with one of the hand mics not working with the radios. I sent them one short email. They responded promptly and mailed me a replacement mic. There were no hassles and I received the replacement within a few days.
These work great for us, and the range is Great!!
