These actually do a good job. I use it for actual live fire. 5.56, 12g, 243, ect.
Worked for 1 afternoon, then broke. Seller wouldn’t replace ANOTHER headset after the first ones breaking as well. DO NOT BUY!
These work the same as the peltor comtac 2 and work fantastically. They are noise cancelling. Used for 223 and 308. Have them hooked to a Baofeng GT3WP. Mic is clear and has Audible for when you turn them on, up or down in volume. I would definitely recommend them.
Cutout is delayed and will not cancel loud noise, and will absolutely not work for range unless you use inner ear plugs. They are comfortable and work well for airsoft. communication for non critical events like riding quads in the desert, riding tractor. Do not use these for regular range time because they will not work and could potentially damage hearing.
Bought another replica of this type of headset (Iron Jia) for half the cost, but quality is half as good. Even hearing protection is noticeably better. The ear cup seal on this is made of gel type material. I haven't tested it yet at an out door range, but I feel it would be adequate for live fire pistol and rifle. Tested it with my baofeng bf-f8 radio and works well. The PTT it comes with is meh. The button feels loose and flimsy, but at least it works and comes with one. I will probably buy a 3rd party PTT in the near future. I can't say it battlefield proven, but all in all, I'm happy with the purchase.

They fit well, are comfortable and sound fine both with radio and ambient sound when on.
My one big issue is the sound cutoff.
As others have said there does seem to be a slight delay on the cutoff but that's not that big of a deal for me since I don't keep the volume full blast and the speaker isn't going to blow my ear drums out with the split second it takes to cutoff.
What does really irritate me though is that once the sound is cut you have to manually turn them back on to get it back. I usually wear Howard Leights at the range which are awesome, you just can't run a ptt radio through them which is why I got these. I'm not sure if the actual real Peltors work this way or not but I wish they would work more like the Howard Leights.
UPDATE 6/2/21
I talked to someone else that has this same headset and confirmed that these should not shut off when the noise cancelling kick in and shouldn't have to manually turn them back on.
I guess I must have gotten a bad set and need to see if I can return them.
Don't waste your money. The noise cancelation is decent, but the ptt and mic don't work at all. I've tried 3 different ptt and none have worked. I've tried two of their brands and those don't transmit anything I say and anything that comes through on my end sounds tinny, barely audible, and only out of one ear. I've tried an amplified ptt with no luck at all either. Save your money and buy legit comtac 3's even used ones will be better than these.
They might work better for other people but for me they didn’t seem to pick up sounds well at all. Returned and got the comtac 2 and they were much better.
Item never landed so cannot write a review, but did receive a similar item about a month earlier. That item was reasonably well constructed although the brackets are a little lose, but overall good value for money, it's not as good as a set of peltors but what do you expect for a third of the price.
