This is a solid unit. I use it hunting, and it works great. The mic picks up well, and the earpiece is comfortable and clear. The cords are plenty long to clip everything out of the way, and the remote PTT is great since it means I don't have to fumble with the radio every time I need to key up. The throat mic was a little tight on me, but I gave it a little stretch, and now it fits perfectly. This is very similar to some higher priced, nearly identical gear I have seen online under other names, at nearly double the price. As a bonus, it looks like it is waterproof, if not water resistant. It is very solid, and way better than the cheaper varieties that will not stand up to hard use. Highly recommended!
This unit is built like a tank. It takes a bit of trial and error to get everything in place, but once done, it's worth the effort. I was really surprised at the quality of the audio from this throat microphone. Those listening to your message report good and clear copy. On the receive side, the audio sounds a little tin-canny as one might expect coming through a curly tube, but is clear copy. This Unit is great for really noisy environments. Background noise when transmitting is all but gone, It serves me well.
Little tight on the neck but nothing to be put off by. The location it sits on the throat doesnt bother or hinder user. Works with my Baofeng 888s. Cords are long but rather enough than not. Sound is clear and loud at a low setting. Easy to set up and tear down. Using for actual military training(cleared by CO)
The 1st one I get the mic was not working But the Comp. replaced it ASAP thank you Kenmax. the new one will be here soon and I will update my review.

Connections and buttons are nice. Neck piece is small and cheap. Its a expensive kids toy.
