I was really excited at first - the first one of these I used worked great. When I broke the alligator clip that holds the cable in place, I swapped to another one. It worked fine for a while but then started having issues with audio cutting in and out. I had every single piece of my radio replaced - lapel mic, antenna, battery, and even the whole APX 6000 - every single ear piece has the same problem. I found myself turning the radio up as the audio was very muted, then nearly blowing my ear drum out when the audio came back in at normal volume. These are not worth pinching pennies.
So far the set up works as you would expect three hours into my first shift using it. The acoustic tubing isn't too stiff, and for me is just a touch long but that can be remedied with a pair of scissors or knife. Better a little long than a little short. The condenser is plenty loud with no distortion even with the radio turned all the way up to hear over freeway noise when on scene. The wired portion is a little stiff, which isn't a bad thing, and feels very robust. It's not flimsy like earbud wires so I'm not too worried about the wires breaking inside the jacket even with repeated flexing. The clip that secures the acoustic tubing to condenser connection is metal and has good tension. The other one to secure the wired side is plastic. It has pretty good tension but I don't use it. All in all, the one I'm using is really good. This should be a 5 star review.
The reason I gave it only three stars is I bought a two pack and between the two set ups, there was only one attachment for connecting the acoustic tube to the condeser. So I bought two sets and got one full set with some replacement parts. Not real happy about that.
I bought a 5 pack, 1st one lasted about a week, 2nd one defective from get go. Yes I still have 3 to try, but I'm getting another brand. Very disappointed
I purchase a pack of 10 and 2 of them stop working in a week time.
Have tried many different styles or single ear piece for work this one wins so far.

Did not work with Motorola 2-way radio. I have used other similar brands that have worked but both of these units failed.
Has a very long cord. It’s a pain trying to stuff all of it under my uniform. Works very well though!
I just ordered this product and am now order I'll ng better quality ear pieces because 3 out of the 5 that you sent to me didn't work from the get g ok and the other 2 are so broken up I can't understand any thing that comes though it.
Works great. Sound is clear. Main clip is great but the secondary clip to secure the cord doesn't hold well at all. Ear piece is good, comfortable no pinching, no falling out.
Makes communication with a radio more private in a congested environment, helps keep conversations private
