The company can be helpful. They sent a new box of the headsets based on my review, but over the last 2 years We've averaged going through 1-3 headsets per person per year. For us they work great until they die. I've tried other types of earpieces from Retevis, but haven't liked any of them. I just came to terms that for us this is a disposable item. I noticed recently that They came out with a new version of this that's a little more heavy duty, but also more expensive. I'm going to try it.
These were great for 6 months or so, then they stop working. We have 10 of the Retevis Walkie Talkies (and they are great). These headsets work great for a while, but over time something happens between the interface from the electronic speaker to the air tubing. It all of the sudden gets very quiet. Manipulating that area helps, but then it goes back to being too quiet to hear. We have 8 people using them daily. It's light use in a professional environment. They are not being abused in any way. It's happening to every bodies headsets over time, so it's not the way one person is trying to use them. I tried to contact Retevis about the issue, but the link on the purchase page states it's been too much time. I would recommend trying a different product. These just don't last.
We got these to go with the Retevis radios for use on a paintball field. These worked excellent. The slim plastic line that goes into your ear was very comfortable under the paintball mask and the sound quality was great. The push to talk PTT button has a nice clip to mount up on your collar. I would definitely recommend these to go with your radios if you are using them in team activities.
5 broke in few weeks. Works good when they work. Retevis customer service use to be very good. A person named Angels was very prompt in the past. But I haven’t heard from them and I sent 3 emails to fix the issues with it. No response since 2 months.
I keep buying this ear pieces because of the quality of performance we get from them. I manage a teams for various pop culture/anime/steampunk conventions. Many don't like the standard headsets that come with the Radios we use so we upgrade to these.
We use the Retvis radios & ear pieces for our church safety and security team, they seem to work well for the distance we use them , we have 10 and everyone seems pleased,

UPDATE: The customer service for Retevis was spectacular! They contacted me right away are receiving my feedback, worked with me to find a replacement type of headset that would be better and shipped them to me for Free! Five Stars for Customer Service!
Volume, speaker, talking button are good, but they're very uncomfortable and don't stay in place. I'll be purchasing a different type.
I purchased these for my staff at my restaurant and we couldn't be happier.....started using them 2 weeks ago and they work perfectly and are just what we needed to help with communication between our hostesses, kitchen and servers....I would highly recommend this product
First off, only reason it's not 5 stars is the mic hole. On testing, could barely hear anything unless the mic is up to your mouth and has to be aiming straight at you. With a small drill bit it can be widened by hand and works great after. After opening the mic hole it actually is more sensitive than the mic on a Baofeng radio. Sound quality through the earpiece is excellent. For about 3 bucks each, can't go wrong
