I ordered this to test it out as I need to replace a number of these for a security team, and thought this would save us some money versus buying local. I spent quite a bit of time researching to make sure the plug would be compatible with our radios, found this one, and ordered it to try it out before buying more. I was pretty impressed with the appearance of the product, but couldn't test it, because it does not have the same plug as shown in the picture I've attached (I'm holding the one they sent me and the screen view of the product is in the background. So in the end, I did not save money, but lost a considerable amount of time studying, ordering, and now having to return it.
I had purchased this set because it would work with the radios in our local school. I needed something to allow me to hear the radio because it was too noisy. This allows me to hear everything and the sound was clear and also allows me to talk back using the mic with no problem. So far it has worked well and they hold up nicely. I ended up buying another one because I always end up loosing the ear pieces.
This earpiece is better value by having the ability to adjust the cables to best fit you. The mic is great at clarity ( will pick up sounds around you too) Ear piece is a little to stiff and take a little more time to confirm around your ear (warm water). Over all better then the cheaper competitors products.
this product works excellent, i haven't had any issues with it
Has been working fine, however, I am beginning to have mic problems and the unit isn't that old year, less than six months. I have purchase similar units and have gotten on some a year and on others up to two years. I purchase this unit as a back up but, I will not purchase again.
