I bought this for a throat mic that uses the 7mm NATO connection and a Baofeng UV5R radio. The Kenwood connection into the radio was extremely tight as well as the 7mm connection into the PTT unit and at first the unit wasn't working because I didn't press down on the connections hard enough. I thought for sure that I had received a bad unit, but I started playing around with it and realized that I just didn't press it in all the way. When I say you really have to press down on the connections, I mean you REALLY have to press down HARD to get them seated properly. On the bright side, the connections are secure and will not likely come loose, but you might need pliers to get the Kenwood connector out of the radio. Overall a good unit and works perfectly with the Baofeng UV-5R and Z-Tac Z033 throat mic.
Doesn’t work with real contacts or ops core AMPs. Go to Disco32.com and you’ll spend a little more money, but, your comms will come in perfect.
I have both the UV-5R Baofeng and the BF-F8HP radios and it only works, both listen and transmit, with the UV-5R.
Product works well with my genuine comtacs. Sound does only come through one ear, though, I am not entirely sure if that is intentional so you can monitor two frequencies if you have two radios as some JTAC's do.
Works with Kenwood TH-D74 and Baofeng HTs. Not sure how waterproof this is as there is on seal between the halves. The PTT click is a little louder than I expected but overall it seems very well constructed and heavy duty.

Did not work with peltors. All ports are correct but as it is not an amplified ptt it was very quiet with the volume turned up all the way. Would recommend finding an amplified one if you are looking to run actual peltor comtacs.
Good. Just the button click is sorta loud but good feels durable have yet to test waterproofability and clip is a bit to wide for mollie
I like everything about this PTT. It is quality, sturdy, and simple to use. Really good for gross motor skills/dexterity.
I'm using real comtac with this, the ARC communications MT17H682P3AD-CY and this product only works slightly with them. If I plug it in all the way, the noise from my radio comes out the microphone ? But when I only push it in slightly (loose) it works perfectly fine but coming out of the left earcup only. Still works, not as great as the real thing of course but still sturdy. If it fit properly with my peltors I would give it a 5
works great its a little stiff at first but once u start to use it and break it in is an easy to push and easy to find ptt love it fits the baoefang perfectly
